The value for money at Klika was great, with a spacious room and even a private sauna! The location was perfect, right by the river and close to all the attractions in the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast selection could have been better, with some items running low towards the end of the morning.

Loved the 14th-century wall in the restaurant, it really gave it that fresh, modern vibe. The staff at reception were so helpful, recommending all the hottest spots in Southern Bohemia. And the museum of forestry? Just cultural highlights for days.
Oh, and let's not forget the free continental breakfast. if you're into that kind of thing.

The only thing going for the hotel is the location - right in the middle of the historic city, easy walking distance to historic attractions. Hotel has private free parking, and they allow pets, which is the main reason we stayed there. that being said the hotel itself (although a restored landmark) has no charm at all, very bland.
the hotel is very basic - borderline hostel. small rooms, no view, 3 beds crammed into a tiny space - so when you get up to use bathroom you trip over beds. also no noise isolation at all - you can hear everything what is going on in the corridors. very poor breakfast choice.

It's perfectly located with easy access by car and parking for free. The internet works very well, and the room was nice & clean. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but was okay. Although it's just in the city center it was very quiet.
The biggest problem is quality of beds, which was very poor in my room. I had to put a quilt to not feel the springs stuck in my stomach. My room's window was overlooking wall and I didn't see a tiny bit of light although it was incredibly sunny outside.

Enjoyed the ancient vibe of the restaurant, felt like dining in the Middle Ages. Helpful staff suggested interesting spots. Loved the quirky Ohrada-Museum nearby. Stayed in a historic apartment. Free breakfast and WiFi were a bonus.
I was so disappointed by the lack of unicorns roaming the halls. How am I supposed to feel regal without them?

The stuff is amiable here, the services are welcoming, and location is peaceful adjacent to the Czech Republic, the main square of Budweiss, and South Bohemia. Make sure you stay in the king room with the bathroom, large windows, as for instance. Think that this lovely small and appealing hotel is beyond compare, really enjoyed it.

The location is very good - close to the city centre.
We stayed on Friday and Sat. Friday was pretty noisy because the restaraunt opened til late and when people left they made noises. Sat was better.
